3. Processing Activities

3.1 Waitlist Registration

Data collected: Email address, first name (optional), UTM marketing parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content) derived from the URL you visited.

Purpose: To notify you when Pastribe launches and to send you product updates and marketing communications you have consented to receive.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, given via the checkbox on the waitlist form.

Recipients:

Zoho CRM (Zoho Corporation, operated within the EU region) — your email address, name, and UTM parameters are stored as a lead record to manage the waitlist. Zoho is also used to send the waitlist confirmation and any subsequent marketing communications. Zoho processes data under a Data Processing Agreement. Where Zoho’s processing involves entities outside the EEA, transfers are governed by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Mailjet / Sinch (French entity, EU-based infrastructure) — used for transactional email delivery. Mailjet processes data under a Data Processing Agreement.
Hetzner Online GmbH (Nuremberg, Germany) — infrastructure hosting within the EU.

Storage: Your consent record is stored in our EU-hosted infrastructure for as long as the waitlist is active plus any applicable legal retention period. Zoho CRM lead records are retained until the waitlist closes or you request deletion.

Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting support@pastribe.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Cookies and Session Storage

We use essential session cookies required for authentication and service functionality. These cookies do not require consent under § 25 Abs. 2 TTDSG as they are strictly necessary. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

5. Automated Decision-Making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or significantly affects you, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

Access (Art. 15) — request a copy of your personal data
Rectification (Art. 16) — correct inaccurate data
Erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your data
Restriction (Art. 18) — restrict processing in certain circumstances
Data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests
Withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) — withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing

7. Providing Your Data

Providing your email address for waitlist registration is voluntary. You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to sign up.
